                              DRAFT TELOPEA MASTER PLAN


The master plan aims to build on Telopea's attributes to create a vibrant mixed community. The master plan provides for attractive Morden homes, good transport connections and better access to school, employment and essential community services.




 1                           NEW PUBLIC AND COMMUNITY SPACES
A new park and plaza at the proposed light rail stop and centrally located expanded community facilities.


2                           MORE RETAIL
A new mixed use area with new cafes, restaurants, large supermarket and upgraded community facilities.


3                          BETTER CONNECTIVITY
I internal escalators and lifts to help people work between the bottom and the top of the help people work between the bottom and the top of the hill.




4                          NEHANCED ROAD NETWORK
New road connections including a realigned Wade street and new road crossing over the light rail




5                          NEW AND IMPROVED HOSUSING
3,500-4,500 additional dwellings on private and government owned land over the next 20 years. Around 1,000 new and modern social homes will be provided.




6                          PARK UPGRADES
Upgrades to Sturt Park, Acacia Park and the Greenway.
